It has been a beautiful and busy weekend. Audrey had her dress rehearsal on Saturday for her upcoming dance recital. It was so cute and all the girls looked fabulous! Miss Audrey LOVES to wear make-up, especially all the fancy make-up so on this day she got the works and was quite pleased. Ethan pretty much just chilled all weekend and has found his voice again. For several weeks his precious baby babble had turned into grunts but the melodic sing-song cooing is back! YAY!!!

Audrey & Ethan adore watching each other. I am not sure which is more enthralled with the other more at this point, either way they are super cute. They even do tummy time together. Ethan's favorite toy is his giraffe, a gift from Luana (THANKS!) It goes everywhere with us and always makes Ethan smile. He especially loves to chew on his ears.

Camping Day

Today at school Audrey had "Camping Day". They made fish and went fishing, they went on a bear hunt, they roasted marshmallows, they sat in tents & read stories outside. She had a blast. Before school she posed for a picture and said she was giving me her best "camping pose". Cute!

Random Pics

Hi all! We had a great Mother's day here. Audrey made me the most precious bookmark at school. On the back it had statements..."If I were rich I would buy my mom a dress for her that I like from Target", "My mom's favorite thing to do is rock in her rocking chair", "My mom likes it best when I listen to her", etc. It was so sweet and so her! The kids also gave me the cutest serving platter too. It was a fun day! My mom was in town as well and she, Audrey & dad planted some flowers (seeds) in the flower boxes, we are excited to water them and watch them grow. Ethan has started eating cereal and applesauce too. Some days its a big hit and other days and closes his lips tight and whines for the bottle. Either way, he makes a big mess and loves to put his hands in his mouth too at the same time. Audrey had "topsy-turvy" day at school last week. She loved it! She wore her skirt pulled up like a shirt, different color socks, two different shoes adn socks on her pig-tails. It was hysterical. Some of the kids wore their clothes inside out but she said no way to that because it was not pretty. To funny!

Check-ups

The kids had their check-ups today and did great. More pics coming soon.

Audrey's 4 year stats: 40.5 inches tall and 39 pounds; Audrey was so excited for her appointment. She got to listen to her own heartbeat and did not even cry for her 2 shots!

Ethan's 4 month stats: 25.25 inches and 16 pounds 11 ounces, I think we'll be moving up to size 3 diapers!! Ethan is loving eating cereal now and chats to us all the time.

Hair

So we had pics of the kids made this past weekend. And they turned out ok. There were cute individual ones but the ones of them together were not the best. Maybe when Ethan can sit on his own. But Audrey wanted her hair curled, so that it would be fancy. So we curled it and used a ton of hair spray. Curl just does not stay in her hair for long. But once curled it was so cute. She also has a TON of hair. She loved the whole process though, as if she were at a spa with her robe and juice box.
