Growing up

As fall quickly approaches and summer comes to an end I look at Audrey in amazement. She is growing up so fast! Her favorite playground this summer is one that scared her last year. She climbs 1o foot ladders onto a platform and slides down crazy fast slides and just giggles. Her artwork has blossomed. Adding in new features and full outfits to the people she draws. Well she usually draws herself super big and finds small places for us to be. However, she often puts Ethan into her pictures, she is usually carrying him or teaching him something, so sweet!

Sliding down the roundy-round, she actually stopped herself in mid-slide to pose for the picture. So funny!!

Jumping Bean

So funny to watch Ethan jump in this, he reminds us of a little leprechaun! There was another video that was funnier b/c he was talking a lot as he jumped, but he was jumping SO much & SO fast that it was a little blurry! Enjoy!

Toys

There are toys everywhere right now and as soon as Ethan begins crawling I cannot even begin to imagine the mess. Ethan was very prod of himself for emptying out the basket.

Ethan's doorway jumper! Man he LOVES this toy. Thanks Theo for letting us borrow it until you are big enough to use it. Today Audrey was dancing to "Annie" and Ethan jumped along with her. Very cute!

With summer comes many fun events. Everything from vacations to just playing in the yard.

I never realized just how big this tree in our backyard was until Audrey was playing by it one afternoon while Ethan and I were on a blanket. That little speck to the right of the tree is Audrey!

Tonight at dinner Ethan just could not stay awake. Our recent vacation has caught up with him and he is still in need of much sleep. Poor guy! When he woke up he just grinned at us, almost as if saying, "Me, did I fall asleep again?"

Day trips

With the recent visit of Nana & Grandpa we were able to get out and explore. Audrey and Ethan had a fabulous time, so did mom & dad. Audrey & grandpa built sand castles, Ethan attempted to eat sand on more than one occasion, we all took a train ride into the city, and just enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather and each other.
