Hair

So we had pics of the kids made this past weekend. And they turned out ok. There were cute individual ones but the ones of them together were not the best. Maybe when Ethan can sit on his own. But Audrey wanted her hair curled, so that it would be fancy. So we curled it and used a ton of hair spray. Curl just does not stay in her hair for long. But once curled it was so cute. She also has a TON of hair. She loved the whole process though, as if she were at a spa with her robe and juice box.

I have found that we have TONS of pictures of Audrey and I am playing catch-up with Ethan. There were a few days in a row (multiple times) that I did not even have the camera out. So lately I try and take at least a few a day, whatever we may be doing. Anytime Audrey catches me taking a picture of Ethan she jumps into the picture too, its really cute. Its not so much that she wants her picture made by herself but she wants to be a part of everything that involves her little brother. I cannot say enough times how thrilled I am at how much she adores and loves him.

We had an absolutely perfect spring day today. So perfect that Ethan and I decided to take our afternoon siesta outside on the hammock.

So perfect for snoozing that Audrey decided to join us. But Ethan just kept snoozing!

Finding time

I have often hoped for more free time to write about the kids and what they are up to. But it seems that they have magic powers and can detect when I sit at the computer to accomplish something. But that's ok, it just means I get to play more with them and post a ton of pics with very little description. But know that they are doing great! They adore each other. Ethan likes his bottles warm and will reject one if its to chilly, no matter how hungry he may be! Audrey loves telling stories and playing make believe. Her imagination has really taken flight, its amazing to me! They each have their check-ups next month, Audrey 4 years and Ethan 4 months. This might be the only time their appointments work out this way. My guess is that Ethan will top the charts, at 2 months he weighed in at 13 pounds, so I am guessing 15 easily by 4 months. We are looking forward to a beautiful spring weekend, pictures of that coming soon!

Wow, we could have saved a lot of money at Audrey's b-day, she loves this roll of ribbon. She played with it for over an hour, creating games & stories.

Ethan loves to talk, he especially loves to mimic our voices. It is so cute and so much fun to listen to.

2 of a kind

Audrey just adores Ethan and well Ethan adores Audrey. I hope they always have this affection towards each other! To get them both looking at the camera is rare because they are always looking at each other. Very cute!

Happy Birthday

We cannot believe that our little girl turns four on Sunday! We celebrated her birthday with all her friends this past weekend and it was a blast. The kids all had so much fun playing together. Audrey has been blessed with so many good friends, they were all smiles. They all enjoyed doing gymnastics, sliding & bouncing and eating cake & ice cream together. It was truly a magical day.

Happy Spring

We are all glad that spring is finally here and we can get out and about more. Ethan loves going for walks in his stroller and Audrey loves playing in the backyard. Her new favorite sport is golf!
