Happy New Year

Today was a fun day to watch the snow fall and stay inside in warm comfy clothes! Well the stay inside part worked but Audrey decided it was dress up fancy day. She picked out a fancy dress and dolled herself up in front of her vanity for over 30 minutes fixing her hair and picking out her accessories. It was so cute to watch. But every time I went to take a picture she would turn around and pose for the camera while asking if she could use real make-up today. So she did end up being dressed up and ready for a party for New Year's Eve.
All dressed up.
A visit to her castle.
Striking a ballerina pose with the bunny slippers of course!

As for me I stayed in my comfy clothes. :) With two weeks left to go and I thought I could get no bigger, my belly keeps expanding and everyday tasks are a bit strenuous to do. Even trying to do the dishes is tough, I keep bumping into the counter. But with a good nap today and many games to play with my princess I feel quite rested.
36.5 weeks, almost there!

Let it snow, let it snow...

Since Friday afternoon we have gotten lots of snow. I had so much fun playing outside with dad yesterday. We made footprints in the snow, made snow angels in the yard, we went treasure hunting, played on the playground in the backyard and went sledding too. After lots of playing it was time to head inside for some hot cocoa. Yummmmmmy!
Throwing a snowball at daddy!
The snow was so deep, it came up past my knees!

Happy snow angel.

Baby Boy

The fun weekly appointments have started along with the weekly non-stress tests. For the first test he was overactive and they needed to see that he could calm down and keep a steady slower heartbeat. Which he did after some major relaxing, I almost fell asleep. This week he decided to take a nap at the start of the test that it even after 12 ounces of juice and a chocolate snack he still slept for 20 minutes! No doubt this child is ours, stubborn!! But we are all excited and anxious to meet Audrey's little brother. She just giggles and says "I cannot wait for January!"

Rudolph

This clip is a little dark but Audrey just loves to sing and dance and perform for the camera. Too cute!

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving vacation was wonderful! It was so great to see our family and just relax and let the kids play. Audrey had so much fun doing everything from helping Nana make cupcakes, riding on a train with Grandpa, rocking at the Wii bowling & dance games, decorating cookies with her cousins, entertaining Nana & Papa with songs, learning to play UNO and winning, and just all around being silly and having a blast at it. There are so many stories to tell from our trip and how much we are thankful for this holiday season. But for now I will just incude an array of photos.

New Rooms

As many of you know we have been anxiously awaiting the completion of half of our basement to become the new playroom! It is now complete and we are thrilled! The old playroom is now set up as the baby's room and Miss. Audrey has a BIG girl bed fit for a princess. She is thrilled with all of the new space to play and sleep, as are we. Finishing the basement was a project but well worth it! The toys (most of them anyways) have a great space downstairs in a room all to themselves. How wonderful! Now with a few touch-ups here and there, adding some wall art and removing the pink butterfly from the baby's room we'll be all set!
